Why work with us? The fair is a non-profit organization, working year-round to enrich the community with events and opportunities. Aside from the fair event each year, there are multiple opportunities within the fair grounds from rental halls and event centers to outdoor activities and gatherings.
Maintenance Division
The Lenawee County Fair & Event Grounds is looking for another Full time Maintenance Person to help with daily maintenance and grounds duties. Tasks will vary from day to day.
Qualifications:
-
HS Diploma
-
Basic Mechanical knowledge of tools and other systems
-
Strong background in construction preferred but not required
-
Physical Stamina - ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, operating machinery and working outdoors in various weather conditions

Attention to detail and follow direction

Safety awareness
-
Clear communication skills
-
Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm however may vary during events.
